For Elizabeth

The house has worked with principal dancers from some of the world’s greatest stages, from Moscow’s Bolshoi to the Royal Ballet in London.

The dancer behind this collection’s story transitions seamlessly from street to stage, but leaves her biker jacket in the dressing room. Exchanging soft leathers and studs for silk layers and sequins. Like the grand theatres in which she performs, her love for opulence and her keen eye for detail are reflected in her style choice of eveningwear. Her tall elegance and ballet poise make her the perfect muse.

Relaxed shapes such as oversized tops with rock and roll motifs are inspired by the comfortable vintage shirts she wears to rehearsal, but are finished with hand embroideries encrusted with crystals and pearls. Pearls are also hand-strung onto cobweb-light silk mohair yarn for one dramatic piece of knitwear. Other items include cashmere wool and silk velvet tailoring which sit alongside buttery leathers and deep plush furs.

This collection attempts to mirror the leading lady’s classic and graceful stage presence but her playful joie de vivre is never far behind.
